Job Details:Ensure Omnicell dispensing cabinets are adequately stocked at sites throughout Vegas. Youwill advise clinical staff on medication selection, dose, interactions, and side effects to ensure quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities: - Review patient charts for correct medication therapy and documentation - Conduct weekly on-site visits to each facility - Assist in maintaining sufficient medication stock, working with pharmaceutical wholesalers if necessary - Review and reconcile controlled substances logs and conduct an annual controlled substance inventory - Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency rules and regulations - Maintain appropriate facility licenses - Provide on-call 24-hour service to answer questions or assist clinical staff if needed - Counsel patients on medication therapy as required - Plan, monitor, and evaluate drug programs and regimens
Coverage Hours: Between 8 am - 5 pm, with potential for additional hours if cabinets need restocking. 40 hrs/week.
Weekend Coverage: Potentially required if cabinets need restocking.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy - State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
