A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 educational setting in East Syracuse, New York, for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract position offers a full-time, 40-hour work week supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Key Qualifications:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology, including CCC, CFY, or School credentials
Experience working with school-age children across K-12 grade levels
Knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies in an educational context
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions targeting speech and language disorders
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district guidelines
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
