A part-time opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide valuable support within a school environment in the Merrydale, LA area. This position involves working directly with students to address their social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating closely with educators and families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students educational and psychological needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Utilize evidence-based strategies to support students academic and emotional growth Provide counseling services and guidance related to behavioral and mental health concerns Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Participate in school-wide programs and initiatives to enhance overall student well-being Qualifications: Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience in a school setting is preferred Proficiency with assessment tools and psychological practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff Location & Travel:This role is based in Merrydale, LA, with potential travel requirements to support various school locations.
