Pediatric Speech Pathology Assistant - Calumet City, IL

An immediate opening is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students from PreK through 8th grade in a K-8 school setting. This contract position runs for the full 2025-2026 school year, with guaranteed hours and a consistent caseload designed to support student communication needs effectively. Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric students. You will collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement therapy sessions tailored to each students unique requirements. Qualifications: Valid certification in one or more of the following: SLP - CCC, SLP - Healthcare, SLP - Pediatrics, SLP - CFY, SLPA - School, or SLPA - Healthcare. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings. Ability to manage a caseload across PreK to 8th grade. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with school staff and families. Location: Calumet City, IL
