A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support to an elementary school student in a home setting. This position focuses on delivering individualized therapy services under a contract for the current school year. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech therapy services for 30 minutes daily, five days a week. Conduct 20 minutes of consultation daily with educators, parents, or caregivers to support the students communication goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the students needs. Monitor and document student progress regularly to inform therapy adjustments. Collaborate with the educational team to integrate communication strategies effectively. Maintain compliance with applicable laws, ethical standards, and best practices in speech-language pathology. Qualifications and Experience: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school or home-based setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educators. Ability to work independently while managing a home-based therapy schedule. Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques and educational frameworks. Location: Position is based in Brush Prairie, Washington, providing services in the students home. This contract role offers meaningful part-time hours with a focus on impactful, direct therapy combined with collaborative consultation.
