This full-time, onsite speech-language pathologist position in New Orleans, LA, serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a school setting. The role is a contract position for the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders to K-12 students
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school settings
Knowledge of teletherapy methods and ability to adapt treatment remotely when needed
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred but not required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
