This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support elementary students in a dynamic PreKGrade 8 school district located in Oakland, CA. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for elementary-aged students. Provide direct, hands-on therapy interventions tailored to student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Current California Occupational Therapist license. Experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary students. Familiarity with CA guidelines for school-based occupational therapy caseloads. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining a student-centered approach. Location: Oakland, California, serving a diverse student population in a PreK8 district. This contract position offers the flexibility to choose full-time or part-time hours to suit your schedule while contributing to the educational success of young learners.
