Seeking skilled Sign Language Interpreters for K-12 school assignments in Camp Lejeune, NC. These contractual positions offer multiple openings with 1:1 interpreting roles tailored to individual student needs. Caseloads will be assigned based on your experience and qualifications, allowing you to work closely with students requiring communication support in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one sign language interpreting services to K-12 students. Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff. Adapt interpreting techniques to meet student needs and educational settings. Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and inclusion. Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter with experience in educational settings preferred. 3.5 or higher on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) is preferred; candidates with other scores will be considered. Strong understanding of K-12 academic environments and student-focused support. Ability to manage multiple assignments and adjust to various caseloads.
