A K-12 educational institution in Auburn, CA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve as a general school nurse for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students in accordance with school policies and healthcare standards Manage routine health screenings, administer medication, and address minor injuries or illnesses Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans Promote health education and wellness initiatives to support a safe and healthy learning environment Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure Experience working in a school setting preferred, but healthcare experience in pediatric or community nursing is valuable Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and school personnel Ability to manage multiple healthcare needs and prioritize in a fast-paced educational setting Location and Duration: Position is located in Auburn, CA Contract role for the current school year (CSY) Benefits and Compensation: Competitive hourly pay range of $28-$35 Access to a 401(k) retirement plan Comprehensive benefits package This position offers a meaningful chance to impact student health while working within a supportive school community.
