Role Overview
This remote position combines the flexibility of virtual teaching with the rewarding nature of special education. You'll utilize advanced digital tools to create engaging, individualized learning experiences for students who require specialized educational support. Key Teaching Functions Create and implement individualized education plans Deliver specialized instruction through virtual classroom technology Develop modified curricula and instructional materials Monitor student progress through data-driven assessment Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and planning sessions Maintain detailed records for legal and educational compliance Student Community
Our diverse student body includes learners with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, and emotional/behavioral challenges. Students span from early elementary through high school transition programs. Required Credentials Master's degree in Special Education Valid Nevada special education teaching certificate Minimum 2 years of direct special education experience Familiarity with virtual learning platforms preferred Strong technology skills and digital literacy Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities Virtual Teaching Support
