SELF (Structured Education and Life Skills Focus)
program for the 20252026 school year. This is a
full-time, onsite
position supporting a
self-contained classroom
serving students in grades
K5 , including some with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Program Type:
Life skills/self-contained classroom
Student Population:
Elementary students, some with Autism and/or significant support needs
Hours:
37.5 hours/week
Responsibilities Include: Delivering individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
Developing and implementing functional academic, behavioral, and life skills curricula
Managing and supporting paraeducators/classroom aides
Collaborating with related service providers, families, and school teams
Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
Creating a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State SPED Certification/Licensure
Must have or be willing to obtain
fingerprints through OSPI
(Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
Experience in self-contained or life skills classrooms preferred
Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
