Key Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain CCC Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the relevant state Experience in both healthcare and school environments preferred Familiarity with teletherapy practices Background in pediatric speech therapy, including clinical fellowship year experience Experience with AAC devices and IEP processes is a plus Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders in children Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs Utilizing evidence-based therapy to enhance speech, language, cognition, and swallowing functions Tracking patient progress and modifying interventions accordingly Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams such as educators, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate care Location: Van Nuys, California (School setting) This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, supportive environment where professional development is encouraged.
