Evansville, Indiana . This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, progressive care unit (PCU), providing specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU-level care. Job Overview: As a
Stepdown RN
on this travel contract, you will be responsible for monitoring patients with moderate to high acuity levels who require closer observation than those in a regular medical-surgical unit. Working
3x12-hour night shifts , youll be part of a dynamic care team in a supportive and well-equipped facility. Key Responsibilities: Provide care for patients in the Stepdown/PCU unit, monitoring vitals and responding to changes in condition. Administer medications, treatments, and assist with patient recovery plans. Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Requirements: Active RN license in Indiana (or compact license). At least 1 year of recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU). BLS/ACLS certifications. Strong organizational and communication skills. Why Choose Soliant Health?
