A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available at a charter high school for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work four days per week, serving primarily a ninth-grade student population. The caseload consists of approximately 35 to 45 students, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment for a qualified professional.

Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a diverse student body Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication development Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to student academic plans Qualifications: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with adolescent populations, preferably high school students Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a caseload of 35 to 45 students effectively Location: Concord, CA This opportunity offers a supportive setting to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills.
