A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (K-12) is needed for a second-semester contract position from January 2026 through June 2026 in a K-12 school located in Palouse, WA. This opportunity offers the chance to support students communication development across all grade levels in a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with educators and families.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches to meet evolving needs.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license appropriate for school-based practice.
Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and families.
Ability to manage caseload efficiently while maintaining focus on student success.
