A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support an elementary school caseload in Monterey, Louisiana. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, providing critical speech therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities: Deliver speech therapy services tailored to students IEP goals, ensuring measurable progress Conduct speech and language assessments, developing or updating treatment plans as appropriate Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational therapists, fellow speech-language pathologists, and other school staff to promote coordinated care Monitor, document, and communicate student progress consistently Actively participate in IEP meetings to support student needs and compliance Maintain adherence to applicable state and federal regulations regarding speech-language services Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Louisiana Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desired Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent organizational abilities This role requires commitment from contract start through the 2025-2026 school year (CSY) with full-time hours aligned to the school calendar.
