A school district in Overland Park, KS is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students from elementary through middle school in a K-12 setting. This is a contract position running from July 28, 2025, through June 2, 2026, with a 40 hours per week schedule and part-time arrangements considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
Lead and participate in meetings related to student intervention and support.
Collaborate with educators and families to problem-solve and develop strategies for student success.
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations related to school psychology services.
Manage a caseload primarily focused on elementary and middle school students.
Qualifications:
Valid Kansas School Psychologist Certificate required.
Experience working within K-12 settings, preferably with elementary and middle school populations.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with state and federal compliance requirements for special education.
