Overview
The Execution Planner plays an interconnected role with various functions of the business consuming and sharing information back and forth down the value chain within the S&OE timeframe for their item set. Responsible for near-term decisions related to product transfers, production prioritizations, order management requests, raw/packaging material shortages, age/freshness management, and managing the frozen production schedule. The Execution Planner also drives continuous improvement initiatives raised through S&OE meeting structure by utilizing exception management, performance trends and problem-solving skills.
What are we looking for? Minimum
B.S. or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering
1-3 years of supply chain experience for a global or multi-plant consumer packaged goods company
Experience with ERP and Advanced Planning Systems (preferably JDA, E2open or RapidResponse)
Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global consumer product company organized in a matrix structure
Demonstrated ability to influence areas not under direct control to achieve objectives and effectively communicate challenging goals and objectives
Demonstrate ability to be consistently reliable, proactive and available to triage supply disruptions and effectively manage time around critical priorities
Up to 20% travel
Preferred
Proficient in program management, production execution, material procurement and financial impact analysis
What will be your key responsibilities?
Make short-term, exception management decisions to optimize service, cost and cash
Lead weekly S&OE feeder meetings and process
Drive/support continuous improvement projects and problem-solving cards, as it relates to service, cost and cash issues
Leverage cognitive automation Rebalancing tool to manage current inventories across 6 warehouse network
Develop/execute action plans to mitigate customer service and NQC risks
Execute short-term plan by facilitating weekly MPS meetings with manufacturing sites
Proactively manage obsolescence and aging through analysis, tracking and freshness waivers
Provide weekly service risks and expected recovery communications for the wider business
Coordinate order management requests with the customer supply chain team
Coordinate with needed cross-functional partner teams as related to Seasonal and Display fixed quantity processes
Coordinate with needed cross-functional partner teams as related to Turn, Affiliate, and Innovation processes
