Key Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy programs for students with communication disorders Conduct speech and language screenings and document student progress Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other educational staff to support student needs Provide support during therapy sessions and help carry out individualized treatment plans Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow detailed therapy plans and directions from supervising speech-language pathologists Commitment to student confidentiality and ethical practices Location: Hayward, California This contract position runs through the current school year, providing stable employment while contributing to meaningful student outcomes. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and dedication to supporting diverse learners.
