About the Job As a Materials Associate, you will join our Supply Chain team at the Morrisville, NC office. The Supply Chain team supports production and business growth through material management and inventory flow. The right person can demonstrate ownership and solve operational challenges in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. This role supports shipping and receiving to ensure products are shipped and received under stringent quality standards. What You'll Do Process shipping and receiving at the Morrisville, NC location Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, quoting shipping costs, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, securing product, and monitoring shipping progress Ensure material movement across sites is accurately transacted for each move Ensure orderly production and distribution by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution Complete cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy as a top priority Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials in stock, recording locations, and reporting shortages Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items and coordinate loading/unloading Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and shipping schedules
Required Qualifications 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role Valid drivers license Ability to be onsite, local to Morrisville, NC Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
Preferred Qualifications 1+ years forklift experience and license Experience in the defense/aerospace industry Familiarity with ERP systems and/or other warehouse management tooling Familiarity with Microsoft Office Experience with inventory management via lot/serial/batch tracking Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments Excellent customer service skills Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. clearance
Salary US Salary Range: $42,000 $63,000 USD Benefits The salary range is an estimate based on compensation factors, including base salary. Actual offers vary based on factors such as experience, education, and skills.
