Revolutionary remote driving tech - We built the worlds first commercial remote driving product. Breaking boundaries across continents - First to roll out vehicles in both Europe and the USA on public roads without a human being inside & one of only two companies in the States operating a commercial driverless service. Vegas fleet on the rise - Our vehicle fleet is scaling fast, from 20 to 100 cars in Las Vegas. Were just getting started! Youll be the face of HR in the US, shaping how our teams experience work at Vay. Youll get hands-on exposure to every area of HR, operations, compliance, payroll, employee engagement, benefits, and more. Youll collaborate with international colleagues and learn how to navigate cross-cultural work environments. Youll have the chance to make a real impact by creating scalable HR processes as we grow. What youll be driving:
HR Operations Own and maintain employee policies and guidelines in line with US labor law, covering insurance, sick leave, salary benchmarking, overtime, grievances, and more. People Experience Lead onboarding and off-boarding, shape an attractive benefits package, and bring energy to engagement initiatives that connect and inspire our team. Payroll & HRIS Run payroll via Paylocity and keep HRIS systems (Personio & Paylocity) updated, accurate, and reliable. Employee Benefits & Perks Oversee benefits programs, manage vendors and brokers, and drive recognition programs that make Vay a rewarding place to work. Collaboration & Culture Partner with cross-functional teams in the US and EU (from Finance to Engineering) to strengthen culture, communication, and values across borders. HR Analytics Use data to uncover insights on turnover, engagement, and other key people metrics. Performance & Development Support managers and employees with performance reviews, development plans, and employee relations matters. Project Leadership Drive HR projects that move the needle, ensuring milestones and goals are hit. What were looking for:
Bachelors degree in HR or related field. 5+ years of progressive HR experience in fast-paced, tech start-ups Solid knowledge of US employment law (with Nevada law expertise a big plus). Experience handling workplace investigations. Strong prioritisation skills, you can adapt quickly when things shift. High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills. Experience fostering cultural awareness and collaboration across borders. Fast paced with a solution orientated mindset Nice to have: Previous experience designing and implementing a benefits package. Why should you join Vay:
