Overview
The ServiceNow Practice Architect contributes to the growth, effectiveness, and profitability of the organization by providing senior technical leadership for a technical practice area. The Practice Architect is billable to a project and must have experience in a utilization capacity and adept in a wide range of technologies, services and consulting approaches used within their specific domain. As a second level Practice Architect, a PA II is expected to have the experience and background to perform all the duties described below for engagements that are focused on consulting/delivery management within the defined subject matter area, including resource management, deliverables development, project planning and executions, adherence to contract attributes and costing, customer interaction, and other key aspects of solution based managed services. This role supports consulting revenues ranging between $5M and $10M annually. Understand customer requirements, translate them into actionable tasks, and provide oversight, guidance, and mentoring to admin teams Ensure ServiceNow engagements are delivered with the highest quality, on time, and on budget Work with team leads on resource planning to staff approved projects Provide input to technical resource sourcing strategies Build resource plans ensuring development teams have the required skill sets Interview and hire qualified administrators and developers; augment with contract staff when required Collaborate with management to align project priorities and schedule work accordingly Lead teams with appropriate direction and developmental feedback Provide cost and resource estimates for planned project phases Input to practice methodologies, standards, and leading practices; drive adherence Provide sales support in solution phases of the sales lifecycle Provide project level of effort and cost estimation Additional Responsibilities
Proactively anticipate problems, define causes, and implement appropriate solutions Make key decisions based on IT services principles and business objectives Supervise and mentor onshore and offshore ServiceNow admin teams; influence across organization Ensure strategic goals for teams are met and promote process improvements Develop and train staff; contribute to internal IT projects and task forces Education and Experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator required ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist required Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect preferred ITIL Foundations certification preferred BA or BS degree in a related field; MS preferred Minimum 5 years ServiceNow configuration and development experience Hands-on experience with multiple versions of ServiceNow; strong ITSM implementation across core modules Experience with ITSM products including ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agent, Integration Hub, AppEngine, and other modules Experience with NOW Assist AI and ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, LDAP, JSON, etc.) Web development fundamentals: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow APIs Proposal/SOW development experience; 5+ years building and delivering enterprise solutions Experience in professional services and consulting Skills and Abilities
Leadership of high-performing application engineering teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work with clients and cross-functional teams; collaborative and results-driven Understanding of IT services management, governance, risk, and quality management Capacity to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $128,000.00 - $192,000.00 per year Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses and profit sharing Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision; Life Insurance; Disability; HSA; Retirement Plan (401(k) with pre-tax and Roth options); other employee programs Workplace Type: This is a fully remote position.
