Interact with suppliers, customers, and internal teams using strong communication skills. Leverage knowledge of aerospace and military standards to ensure product integrity, including reading blueprints and performing GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. Manage sustaining efforts, including dispositioning non-conforming parts and providing clear rework instructions. Apply understanding of forging, casting, and hog-out design, production assembly, and testing processes. Interpret test data and ensure compliance with configuration management standards (e.g., Enovia SmarTeam). Use troubleshooting and failure analysis skills to enhance product reliability and performance. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in aerospace design and manufacturing. Proficiency in mechanical and electromechanical design; experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel valves. Strong mathematical and analytical skills; ability to apply fluid dynamics, probability and statistics, geometry, and trigonometry to practical situations. Experience reading blueprints; GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis. CAD experience in PRO/E or SolidWorks. Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Enovia SmarTeam). Ability to lift components up to 50 pounds; hands-on approach to engineering challenges. Benefits
