National Products, Inc. (NPI) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our in-house IT team. This is a mid-level position where your prior IT support experience will be essential. In this role, you will go beyond traditional desktop support, balancing end-user assistance with hands-on infrastructure work such as troubleshooting laptops, running network cabling, and maintaining well-documented, organized systems. You will need strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, and the mindset to transform user frustrations into positive outcomes. Job Description

Provide responsive technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently Run and terminate network cabling, install wall jacks, patch panels, and manage switch or router connections with an emphasis on proper cable management and documentation Install and configure hardware, operating systems, applications, and Intune-managed devices Perform system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance to keep systems secure and reliable Work on projects while operating with a high degree of autonomy when assigned independent tasks Maintain clear records of support requests, cabling diagrams, and system changes Track IT assets including hardware and software inventory, ensuring they are properly managed and maintained Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 Experience with Intune or other device management platforms preferred Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account administration Hands-on experience running network cabling, installing wall jacks, patch panels, and rack-mounted gear Knowledge of proper cable management standards Skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading desktops, laptops, and peripherals Helpdesk or ticketing system experience Familiarity with network cameras and video surveillance systems is a plus CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification or experience Soft Skills

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Strong communication and customer service mindset Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move computer and networking equipment as needed Occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance or urgent support Occasional operation of a scissor lift or boom lift for camera and wireless access point installation or replacement Hourly Rate
