Overview
JANUS Research Group is seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to support the IT Services and Support (ITSS) requirements for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS) requirement, in support of the Program Executive Office Enterprise (PEO Enterprise) in Radford, VA. The Senior Citrix Administrator will support the ALTESS Windows team in a mixed environment of Windows 2019 and Windows 2022, working with the existing Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for a mixed customer environment. This role plans, executes, and implements new system hardware and software, and creates and maintains team technical instructions, operating procedures, and policies as needed. The Senior Citrix Administrator will monitor and tune system performance, manage ongoing operation of the servers, harden the servers, report on security and operational status, and recommend improvements to the enterprise. The role also manages new software/hardware integrations when required and provides utilization reports to identify problems and corrective actions. Strong communication and teamwork are required. The position supports the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the data center, including firmware version control and preventive maintenance, and may recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies in the current environment. Required Qualifications CompTIA Security+. Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) or ability to obtain. Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Experience in Computer Science or IT. Five or more years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix XenApp, NetScaler Gateway, Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix Director. Three or more years of experience automating tasks utilizing PowerShell. Three or more years installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites (IIS, Apache, etc.). Three or more years of experience in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior-level fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP). Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience. Three or more years supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCAV, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA). Three or more years managing enterprise-level Active Directory structures. Three or more years creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy implementations. Three or more years creating, maintaining, and following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and problem resolution.
