Purpose of Role
Talent Acquisition Specialists are trusted talent advisors responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and hire a diverse pool of candidates. This includes a human-centered approach to efficiently sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, screening, interviewing, and supporting managers with their staffing needs. This role provides an exceptional candidate experience while guiding and advising managers with their hiring and onboarding needs. Areas of Accountabilities
Recruitment Guide and advise hiring managers throughout the full-cycle recruitment process. Post job openings and actively source candidates through diverse channels and networks. Pre-screen applicants and recommend qualified, diverse candidates to hiring managers. Schedule interviews and maintain clear and timely communication with candidates and hiring managers. Complete all pre-boarding preparations, communications, and handoffs to ensure a smooth start for new hires. Sourcing and Talent Pools Development Develop and maintain a diverse talent pool by establishing relationships with community schools, institutions, and organizations. Monitor and support staffing plans with plant and site leaders to ensure recruitment efforts meet operational needs. Participate in job fairs, networking events, and outreach programs to attract top talent. Employer Branding and Candidate Experience Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent. Maintain timely candidate communication to ensure a positive experience. Track and evaluate the success of recruitment campaigns. Interview Support Guide and advise hiring managers on interview guidelines. Facilitate ad-hoc and scheduled interview training with hiring managers. Create and maintain interview guides and resources based on the Rehrig Accountable Management System. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Associates degree or equivalent years of experience. At least 1 year of recruitment and sourcing experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Experience with employer branding and candidate engagement. Proficiency with ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and job boards (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed). Willingness to travel at least 30% domestically. Reside within 90 minutes of a Rehrig Pacific Manufacturing Plant. Locations Include: Buckeye, AZ; Dallas, TX; De Soto, KS; Erie, PA; Pleasant Prairie, WI; Lawrenceville, GA; Orlando, FL.
