Senior Project Manager - Global Product Development at Fortune Brands Innovations As a Sr. Project Manager within Fortune Brands, you will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of new product development and continuous improvement projects from ideation through commercialization. You will develop project plans to ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget while meeting or exceeding cost and quality specifications. You will champion the Stage-Gate process for your projects and manage the documentation requirements of the New Product Development process to ensure products and the development process are well-documented. The role requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Finance, Legal, and Sales. Responsibilities Lead multiple end-to-end strategic projects across several product lines and channels Use the Fortune Brands Innovation (FBIN) enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) system to plan, track, and coordinate project activities Apply FBINs Product Development Process, ensure timely gate reviews and routine reports, and uphold process discipline within project teams Develop, monitor, and control project schedules with proactive risk mitigation and issue resolution Collaborate with advanced Concept, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to focus on speed to market and innovation processes Ensure project deliverables and tasks are appropriately resourced Lead product development and supply chain activities from definition to production, emphasizing speed to market, schedule, budget, and product cost Oversee and motivate all functional areas during development to meet key deliverables (Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance, Quality, Advanced Manufacturing, Manufacturing) Monitor timing, quality, technical, and financial risk; develop and implement risk mitigation strategies Adapt to changing responsibilities, priorities, and workload; communicate with stakeholders as needed Interact with all levels of leadership (Managers, Directors, VPs, President) Perform post-launch audits to ensure targets are met and report gaps to planned business profitability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field required Minimum 5 years' experience in a fast-paced New Product Development environment leading cross-functional teams using PM methodologies PMP certification, Agile experience, and advanced MS Project skills preferred Demonstrated success managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment Experience identifying needs, assigning roles, and leading cross-functional teams to meet deliverables Familiarity with mechanical product development and manufacturing practices Strong discipline in using project management tools (scope, schedules, budgets, risk management, updates) Proven ability to engage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver product requirements Experience with capital and expense budgeting for large-scale projects and programs Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Willingness to travel up to ~15% (domestic and international)

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. Salary range for this role: $80,000 $126,500 USD base pay. Actual salaries may vary based on education, experience, and location. In addition to base salary, employees may participate in an annual bonus plan or a role-based incentive plan.
