Information Technology Project Manager

Regions Bank . This position independently manages projects of medium scale, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery. Collaborates with project teams, functional owners, and sponsors to execute the full project life cycle to achieve specific business outcomes. Responsibilities
Demonstrates understanding of the project management process for assigned roles and tasks Manages technology projects for various business groups across the Enterprise (e.g., network upgrades, hardware installations, software and app development, data management and integration, large-scale system replacements, and business initiatives) Develops and manages technology project plans to ensure work is assigned and completed on time Supports other project managers and delivery work on projects of varying scale Drafts project deliverables independently for review with other Project Managers Applies project management processes, tools, and templates to manage medium-scale projects Maintains ownership through all phases of a project to ensure execution according to plans Solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project deliverables Partners with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve desired project outcomes Provides project and departmental status reporting Executes departmental tasks as assigned Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field Two (2) years of project management experience Preferences
Banking or financial services experience Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Project Management Institute-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Skills and Competencies
Ability to create and deliver influential large-scale project communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (PMBOK, ITIL, SDLC, Agile, etc.) Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously Relevant work experience in technology with broad IT discipline understanding Familiarity with Kanban, Jira and Confluence Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) Strong written/verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills Understanding of leadership development and engagement techniques in corporate settings Additional Job Details
A position intended to be onsite with in-office expectations several days per week. Relocation assistance is not provided. The role requires proximity to Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC. Exceptions may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely. Position Type
