Overview
This position is responsible for the development and delivery of Virtualization Infrastructure services and automation to support enterprise operations for mission-critical environments.
Role includes responsibility in the design, development, and support of virtualization platforms and services to enable greater agility with fulfillment to accomplish company growth initiatives. Additional key responsibilities include mentoring other team members in a DevOps operating model.
Technologies in scope include Nutanix, VMware and Azure virtualization platforms and technologies, data protection solutions, infrastructure automation tools, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and shared-service applications. Knowledge of cloud technology platforms, PaaS, IaaS, containers, Kubernetes, scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python and other Infrastructure automation languages.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Lead the implementation of TSC’s Virtualization Infrastructure strategy to support full CI/CD pipeline agility for service consumption.
Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements.
Assist in maintaining development standards complying with enterprise standards, ensuring solutions are optimally designed, secure, well performing and integrated with other solutions.
Deliver the objectives associated with problem management, such as customer communication and root cause analysis reports.
Foster key vendor relationships and contract performance.
Document internal SOPs, processes, and training to ensure team members are successful in DevOps environment.
Lead the team with internal infrastructure projects which may require cross departmental coordination to achieve goals.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 6+ years related work experience with Nutanix/VMware or other virtualization platforms, 3+ years related work experience in DevOps utilizing SDLC agile methodology
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: Preferred Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft Azure Certifications

Knowledge of business process re-engineering from lean principles to agile processes.
Knowledge of open telemetry observability frameworks, pipelines and publish/subscribe models.
Strong understanding of ITIL core principles for incident, request, change, and problem management.
