Designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative distributed software solutions Analyzing and optimizing applications and services Writing clean, maintainable code and conducting peer code reviews Collaborating on technical feasibility studies and prototyping Implementing software engineering best practices Working in an agile, startup-like environment Qualifications

Experience programming with Java or Kotlin, including object-oriented design and modern development practices Experience with UI/frontend development including web technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React Experience with GenAI technologies such as large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems Experience with AI tools for software development such as Cline, Amazon Q Developer, Kiro, Cursor, Claude Code, etc. Experience in manufacturing, supply chain or logistics domain; understanding of industry-specific challenges and solutions 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Experience with computer vision, photo/video processing, AI inspection Travel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
