Avionics/Electrical Technician II
We're seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician II to join our team with a leading aerospace company. You'll be: Performing installation and functional testing of aircraft electrical and avionics systems Troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure timely, quality repairs Repairing or replacing defective components and wiring using approved practices (splicing, soldering, pinning) Conducting operational and functional tests with specialized equipment to evaluate system performance Documenting all work performed accurately and in compliance with inspection requirements Complying with company programs for safety, FOD, tool control, and 5-S workplace organization Supporting engineering changes, modifications, and certification testing when required This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: A High School Diploma or GED (required) 4 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus 2 years of related experience Preferred certifications: A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant license), FCC license, or NCATT certification Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climb stairs/ladders, work in confined areas, lift up to 50 lbs) Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and shifting priorities Bonus: Experience troubleshooting other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, or environmental controls Additional Details: Location: Savannah GA 31408 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: 1st shift 4:50am to 3:30pm Pay Rate: $32.18/hr Must be 18+ years old and pass standard screenings What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
