Digital Data Analyst Lead

This role supports the digital strategy by enhancing the logged-in experience, driving self-service adoption, and improving digital engagement across channels. The Digital Data Analytics Lead will oversee the logged-in experience data domain, monitor, measure, report, and drive improvements in digital touchpoints by using data to inform strategic decisions. The role collaborates with UX, Product, and Engineering to enhance the team’s capabilities and performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and a strong leader with a proven track record of leveraging data to provide thought leadership and drive business outcomes in digital customer engagement within financial services. The role is hybrid and requires proximity to one of our offices in New York, NY; Wilmington, DE; Baltimore, MD; or Dallas/Irving/Fort Worth, TX, with in-office expectations on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Compensation includes a target base salary range for Baltimore, MD and New York, NY of $105K–$130K, plus a competitive compensation program based on performance and location. What You Would Do
Data analysis and strategy design : Extract, analyze, and interpret digital customer engagement data from multiple systems to design, recommend, and execute strategies to optimize account management, cross-buy, and self-service capabilities. Inform product development, define customer intent, create solutions, and validate hypotheses through experimentation. Performance Monitoring, Reporting, And Testing : Develop and manage dashboards and reports providing real-time insights into customer engagement and digital experience metrics. Monitor performance of digital touchpoints and provide actionable recommendations. Collaborate to create detailed reports that inform decisions and track progress toward OKRs. Design and implement A/B testing plans to evaluate changes and refine strategies. Cross-functional collaboration : Partner with product, marketing, tech, design, and business teams to generate insights into digital engagement trends. Insights generation & communication : Identify opportunities to enhance the digital experience and build business cases; summarize and present data-driven insights to senior management to inform decisions. Leadership and development of data analysts : Mentor junior digital data analysts, establish best practices, support team growth, and ensure overall performance. Thought leadership and innovation : Promote data-driven decision making and connect digital engagement to business outcomes. Required Skills And Experience
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related). Professional experience: 5+ years of data analytics experience in financial services; experience measuring digital customer engagement across channels. Problem-solving: Strong analytical approach to complex problems in digital engagement and customer experience. Technical skills: Proficiency in Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Heap, Adobe Analytics, etc.), Data Visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), and SQL. Experience with A/B Testing: Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools (Optimizely, Adobe Target, etc.). Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Project management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate teams, and meet deadlines. Relationship building: Ability to develop strong relationships across organizational levels.
