Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Desktop Support Technician to join its Technical Support Services team. This position is based at the organization's secondary headquarters in Irving, TX, where the selected candidate will serve as the sole onsite IT support specialist. The role demands a high level of autonomy, technical expertise, and professionalism, especially when supporting executive staff and managing critical IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

End-User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide comprehensive desktop support in a Windows 10/11 environment, including hardware/software troubleshooting, peripheral setup, and mobile device support. Resolve escalated technical issues onsite and remotely, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Executive & Conference Room Support: Deliver white-glove IT support to executive staff, including setup and troubleshooting of video conferencing tools such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Ensure seamless execution of meetings, presentations, and collaborative sessions. IMAC Services (Install, Move, Add, Change): Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Handle cabling and connectivity tasks, ensuring all systems are properly integrated and functioning. New User Setup & Asset Management: Manage onboarding processes including account creation, device provisioning, and system configuration. Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure compliance with company standards. Field Site Support (Backup Role): Serve as the primary backup for field technicians supporting remote sites within a few hours radius. These locations may include outdoor environments and require support for a full range of technologies, including ruggedized equipment and wireless connectivity. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop support within a corporate Windows environment Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, hardware imaging, and system configuration Experience supporting video conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Teams, Zoom) Ability to work independently and manage IT operations for an entire site Comfortable with occasional travel to nearby field locations Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially when working with executive-level staff Familiarity with cabling, network connectivity, and printer troubleshooting Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
