Special Education Teacher
for a
Moderate Cognitive Impairment (CI) classroom
serving
12 students in grades 47 with ASD and behavioral needs . This is a
full-time, onsite position
for the 20252026 school year. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and classroom management strategies tailored to student needs.
Modify curriculum and teaching methods to support ASD and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with paras, related service providers, and other staff.
Monitor and report student progress on IEP goals.
Participate in IEP meetings and family communication.
Position Requirements: Valid
Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification
Experience with ASD and behavioral needs preferred
Ability to commit to full-time, onsite role
