A part-time opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in school-based services, working within a K-12 educational setting in Naperville, IL. This contract role begins with a paid orientation on August 4-5, 2025, leading into the full academic year from August 19, 2025, through June 1, 2026, with a commitment of two days per week.

Key Responsibilities: Support students in developing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities to actively participate in classroom activities alongside classmates. Modify tasks and environmental factors to accommodate individual student needs. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing when necessary. Prepare detailed, informative reports from student assessments and observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations. Collaborate effectively and communicate regularly with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and identify areas requiring additional support. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state license for Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
