Senior Electric Engineering Inspector

Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr Assignment: Temp-to-Hire (eligible after 520 hours worked) Start Date: ASAP Location: O&R Office – on-site with field work required Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some variance possible) What You’ll Do Lead and supervise a team of up to 5 Electrical Engineering Inspectors. Oversee multiple projects at all stages, from design to construction to close-out documentation. Ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety/environmental standards. Coordinate contractor manpower, schedules, and material deliveries. Track and document all materials issued, transferred, or returned. Keep daily records of contractor activities, including out-of-scope work and costs. Act as liaison between contractors, subcontractors, agencies, and O&R personnel. Witness, approve, and document testing (transformer acceptance, concrete, and other inspections). Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, maps, and specifications. Enforce E-HASP (Environment, Health, and Safety Plan) requirements across projects. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in: Overhead & Underground Electric Transmission Substation Projects Overhead & Underground Distribution Environmental, Facilities, and other electric utility projects Demonstrated ability to manage major electric utility construction projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications. Work authorization: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Hiring Process Phone or Microsoft Teams interview required.
