2-Way Mobile Radio Technician

Radio Technicians should possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Motorola radio systems, as well as maintaining and operating RF spectrum-dependent telecommunications equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, Trunked and Conventional Land Mobile Radio Systems, Microwave Systems, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and various wireless technologies. Desired Qualifications: 2 to 5 years of professional background in two-way radio communications. FCC GROL, CET, or CGT certifications are highly desirable. Proficient in interpreting schematics, block diagrams, and flow charts to service and repair supported electronic systems. Key Responsibilities: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to wireless communications equipment. Conduct diagnostic and analytical testing to repair devices such as dispatch consoles, paging networks, trunked radio systems, and vehicle-mounted installations. Monitor and report on Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system performance. Maintain RF, paging, microwave, and DAS infrastructure. Install radio and wireless communication systems for mobile and base stations in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
