Supplier Industrialization Engineer Pay Range: $30/hr - $40/hr (W2) Location: El Paso TX office Daily Schedule & OT estimate: M-F potential for Saturday Typical Day in the Role · Purpose of the Team: The Global Supplier Industrialization & Quality team focuses on engineering design on the supplier side of the business. This team is responsible for Powertrain & Electronics. Work & work with suppliers worldwide. This role will exclusively be partnering with their Mexico Supplier to complete a handles of responsibilities directly in the Juarez plant. Job description: Our global supplier industrialization group is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer to support the group by leading supplier’s deliverables and results in alignment with the client's standards on quality, cost and time. Reacting to any contingency and supporting the group delivering high quality products in timely manner. You Will · Be responsible to review, approve and manage all supplier industrialization activities including but not limited to program timelines, tooling, capital and fixture construction, tooling trials, assembly readiness, · Develop, manage and ensure a robust implementation of the APQP -Advanced Product Quality Planning- process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production. · Monitor supplier’s performance (quality yield, production output, etc.) and provide visibility to Lucid team to protect production · Cross functionally supports activities to improve key manufacturing operations (tend of line testers) · Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from the vehicle Assembly plant Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning and Supplier Quality to ensure supplier process related issues are contained and Lucid plants are protected. · Resolve supplier quality and process related issues during industrialization phases and implement permanent corrective and preventative actions. You Bring · 5+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing roles in Supplier Quality, operations, Quality, or process Engineering. · Hands-on Supplier Industrialization, APQP, PPAP and Program Management experience. · Excellent analytical abilities, technical writing ability, and comprehensive understanding of quality toolbox (IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, GD&T, etc.). · Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and in-depth knowledge of quality standards and specifications in the commodities assigned. · Knowledge about FCT / EOL testing (Sifo, Athertek, GIT, and Abtest brands is a must) · Bilingual skills to communicate in English and Spanish (Taiwanese is a plus). · Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on, data-driven, creative mindset, problem solver, results driven, passion for excellence. · Positive attitude, willingness to learn, be part of the solution and be able to adapt to a highly dynamic working environment. · BS in a related Engineering field, MS preferred.
