Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students requiring additional support Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve educational goals Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings related to student development Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with elementary-aged students in inclusive or specialized classroom settings Strong understanding of IEP development and special education laws and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues Ability to manage diverse learning needs with patience and adaptability Location: Hopkins, Minnesota Employment Type: Contract (Non-school year, Academic Year) This position offers the chance to contribute to a supportive educational atmosphere where a specialized skill set is valued and student growth is prioritized.
