Overview
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator
role at RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC. The IAM Administrator will become a subject matter expert on RoundPoint’s internal software systems and the end user access requirements to support and enable the work of RoundPoint’s employees. The team is modernizing, streamlining, and automating IAM workflows to provide better support for end users and improve IAM team efficiency. This role is part of the Information Security team reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO); IAM partners with Security Operations and Compliance to address audit findings and implement preventative measures against identity/access-related incidents. This role is not part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) for Security Information & Event Management monitoring/analysis and does not require on-call duties for urgent security incidents. Responsibilities
Identity and access management work for RoundPoint employees and external users Administration of user identities and access in a variety of systems, primarily Microsoft Provide high-priority customer service and collaborate with end users Provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and access for onboarding, transfers/promotions, and offboarding/terminations Document processes for the team and maintain knowledge base/end-user reference materials Generate reports, conduct access audits, and provide audit evidence as assigned Identify and propose process improvements to streamline IAM operations Support cleanup of systems managed by the IAM team as needed Other relevant duties as assigned Qualifications
Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a similar role managing end-user requests and sensitive data (e.g., IT support/service desk, compliance specialist, data or business analyst) Strong understanding of identity lifecycle processes: New Hire Onboarding, Transfer/Promotion, and Offboarding/Termination Experience with Information Security Operations Center (ISOC/SOC) compliance and audits Excellent end-user support and strong communication Ability to independently prioritize tickets and project/audit work based on deadlines and SLAs Self-motivated to work independently and collaboratively with the team Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (2-4 years beyond the required 2+ years, depending on relevance) Intermediate system administrator skills in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 Understanding of identity concepts such as role-based access control and group-based permissions Familiarity with IT or operations service management (ITSM) ticketing systems and workflows (ideally Jira Service Management) Ability to work extended or flexible hours to accommodate onboarding/offboarding needs (supervisor notice provided) Compensation & Benefits
