Video Teleconferencing Field Service Representative

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As an Electronics Technician Maintenance I, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Army Futures Command. You will play a crucial role in joining our team to support users and facilitate video teleconferencing systems (VTC) at the Army Futures Command in Austin, TX. Assist users with set up, connections, and scheduling of rooms containing presentation and conferencing systems. Provides operational users with an ability to access and share real time Common Operational Picture (COPs), enabling immediate decision making during real world operations. This forms the backbone that provides the operators with situational awareness for effective execution of missions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Education: AA Degree (will consider other combinations of years of experience and education/certifications in lieu of a degree) Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience Security Clearance Level: Secret Required Skills and Abilities: Have familiarity with Crestron Audio/Visual systems and Cisco video teleconferencing devices (VTC). Have the ability to troubleshoot basic connectivity issues while assisting users with setting up equipment for calls and presentations. Previous experience with video walls, touchpanels, A/V peripherals and understanding connectivity, configuration, and functionality with the ability to identify and resolve user issues. Ability to utilize MS Office programs to develop reports, trackers, etc. Knowledge of the setup and configuration of Microsoft Teams. Superb customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40lbs. Potential for early/late days to accommodate customer requirements. Potential for weekend support (minimally).
