This highly visible role will focus on full-stack cloud architecture, driving modernization efforts across both on-premise and cloud environments (Azure & AWS). The ideal candidate has deep expertise in DevSecOps, API-first design, and modern application lifecyclesand thrives in guiding cross-functional teams through transformation. Youll play a pivotal role in defining architectural vision, setting enterprise standards, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology delivery. This is a hybrid position based in Columbus, OH. What Youll Do Partner with business and IT leadership to define future technology direction Translate requirements into actionable transformation roadmaps Establish enterprise architecture standards and best practices Execution Lead design and review of software and infrastructure builds Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and product teams Recommend innovative solutions to optimize system performance Ensure consistent application of architecture standards across projects Operations Define and enforce governance processes including ARBs and solution reviews Maintain reference architectures, standards, and documentation Manage exception processes and architectural compliance Research emerging industry trends and evaluate new technologies Propose and deliver cutting-edge architecture solutions Continuously evolve architecture practices to meet business demands What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience 10+ years in enterprise-level architecture roles, including leadership and mentoring Proven experience in Azure and AWS platforms Expertise in API-first design, DevSecOps, and modern app lifecycles Strong understanding of : APIs and Automation Cloud Services and Compute Databases and Development Tools Infrastructure as Code & Runtime Environments Logging, Monitoring, and Security Networking, Storage, Unified Comms, Service Operations Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL Excellent consultative and communication skills for diverse stakeholders Nice to Have Background in application development, systems management, or project management Experience with large-scale cloud migrations and modernization efforts Leadership strengths in prioritization, performance measurement, and team motivation Familiarity with retail or other large-scale, data-driven industries Why This Role Stands Out Strategic, high-impact role reporting to senior leadership Opportunity to lead enterprise cloud modernization at scale Exposure across all major technology domains and business units Hybrid schedule with strong work/life balance Strong potential for full-time conversion Seniority level
