Contribute to architecture design and development of scalable, resilient hybrid cloud-based solutions supporting critical financial risk management activities. Mentor and collaborate with developers, architects and product owners to drive the strategy of transforming the enterprise into a data-driven organization; lead through innovative strategic thinking in building data solutions. Lead requirement analysis and review to identify missing or incomplete requirements. Design high-performing, scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-optimized solutions. Design and develop streaming applications for business requirements within an agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. Analyze requirements, develop, test, and document software quality to ensure proper implementation. Design, develop, plan, modify and improve complex systems with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot and Jenkins. Design, develop and analyze solutions for cloud-based applications using Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes. Design and develop RESTful services using Spring Boot and integrate with source systems such as Active MQ or Kafka on cloud platforms (GCP or AWS). Design, develop, and integrate Spring Security to implement robust authentication and authorization with identity providers and API Gateway and IAM. Follow SDLC procedures to ensure information system products and services meet quality standards, functional requirements, architectural standards, performance, audit, and security rules. Perform thorough code reviews based on high engineering standards; write unit and integration tests; perform risk analysis and recommend quality improvements. Assist Production Support and provide guidance on system functionality and fixes; assist with departmental and new employee training. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, any engineering, or related and five (5) years of experience as a software developer, Java application developer, programmer analyst, or related Special Skills Required
Must have work experience with: 1) design, develop, plan, modify and improve complex systems with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot and Jenkins; 2) design, develop and analyze solutions for cloud-based applications using Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes; 3) design and develop RESTful services using Spring Boot and integrate with source systems Active MQ or Kafka on cloud platforms GCP or AWS; 4) design, develop, and integrate Spring Security framework to implement robust authentication and authorization with identity providers and API Gateway and IAM.
