Senior Data Engineer Location: Herndon, VA — TS/SCI FS Poly

Responsibilities

Engineer will design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. There will be a focus on AWS cloud services. Collaboration with other teams to support data driven applications and analytics to ensure efficient data flow. Candidate should have agile project management experience and a strong background in data management.

Develop and maintain data models.

Validate, test, and monitor data quality and integrity.

Keep track and document data engineering processes, architectures, and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of experience

SQL, particularly PostgreSQL

AWS data services

API and ETL development

Desired Experience

AI and Generative AI model experience

Familiarity with Jira, Docker, and Kubernetes

Knowledge of Terraform and Cloudformation

Know how of data visualization tools- Power BI and Tableau
