Job Title: Office Support Specialist
Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Cheyenne, WY
Position Overview:
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a temporary Office Support Specialist. This role provides essential administrative support in the processing of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review claims to ensure all required forms are included.
- Conduct status checks on medical records and consultative examination reports.
- Document actions taken on claims in the appropriate system.
- Provide administrative support to examiners by preparing and associating correspondence and forms for same-day mailing.
- Perform mailroom functions, including operating a mail machine for outgoing mail, distributing incoming mail, and managing faxed documents.
- Ensure all documents are filed in the correct electronic folders.
- Determine when consultative examination reports need to be sent to medical providers.
- Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of claimant information.
- Assist with scheduling consultative examinations for claimants as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in basic computer software and email.
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer service experience with the ability to handle potentially high-stress situations.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of handling and maintaining confidential information.
