ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following (Other duties may be assigned): Process all orders per standard operating procedure (SOP), following special instructions as needed. Edit orders for price, promotions, terms, freight, warehouse, etc. Monitor and print Email, Fax, Web & EDI orders from the appropriate folders, sort and distribute as required (Reference list of "Special Handled Accounts") - generally every 30-60 minutes each day. Inform customer of any discrepancies, back-orders, processing order deviation or authorization to ship at corrected price forms as applicable and required. Fax or email all sales order acknowledgements to sales representative and customer. Communicate with warehouse as needed regarding special shipment of orders. Research and respond to order/shipment inquiries, submitting RGAs or other credits or debits as applicable.
