Night Audit

As the night audit, you will work at the front desk and provide friendly, efficient, and hospitable service during the overnight hours. In addition to being the main point of contact for guests during the night, you'll use your attention-to-detail to complete the night audit process and ensure that one day is properly closed and the next day is set up for success. Salary: $20.00/hour Shift: This is an overnight shift, typically between the hours of 9:00pm and 7:00am There's no place like Suncadia. Provide exceptional guest service in a positive and clear speaking voice, listen attentively to understand requests Verify and swipe credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank Post charges to guest rooms and/or house accounts as needed Retrieve messages, mail, and facsimiles for guests as requested Research and perform revenue audit function Upon completion of audit, input information into general ledger system File paid invoices in night audit packs Research and respond to charge inquiries on a timely basis Send copies of guest folios on a timely basis via fax or mail File registration cards in suite number order Notify guests of incoming faxes using the message function on the computer Qualifications

Ability to work the overnight shift Ability to work weekends and holidays Confident and comfortable working largely unsupervised and alone Proven record of responsibility, the Night Audit is often times the only lodge team member present during the overnight hours Minimum of 1-2 years of previous customer service experience Previous hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred Fluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbal Provide legible communication and directions Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
