Receptionist - Addiction Recovery
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, employees, answering the switchboard, responding to inquiries, connecting caller with appropriate party, paging overhead when appropriate, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing additional clerical support as requested. Roles and Responsibilities: Be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our facility! We're looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you'll ensure smooth communication, provide support to staff and clients, and help keep daily operations running seamlessly. What You'll Do
Be the voice of our facility: Operate the switchboard with professionalismanswering, transferring, and managing incoming calls with courtesy.
Keep communication flowing: Page staff through the central paging system as needed.
Create a welcoming experience: Greet, welcome, and direct visitors, vendors, and guests, ensuring they are signed in and feel supported.
Support clients and staff: Provide assistance with change, valuables, meal tickets, postage, and other small but meaningful needs.
Manage mail and deliveries: Sort and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, and log and document deliveries.
Handle inquiries with ease: Provide general facility information to callers and guests.
Maintain financial accuracy: Oversee petty cash, accept client account payments, issue receipts, and perform cash receipt write-ups with accurate G/L coding.
Ensure safety and security: Monitor guest logbooks, issue visitor badges, and notify staff promptly of arrivals.
Keep things organized: Perform data entry and provide clerical support to various departments.
What We're Looking For
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: At least one year of related experience preferred (administrative, customer service, or reception).
Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a customer-focused mindset.
