Cloud Engineer
to support a hybrid infrastructure environment spanning
AWS and Azure . This role focuses on cloud design, migration, and operational support, particularly in regulated or public sector settings. You'll lead deployments, enhance system performance, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise platforms-making a measurable impact across IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead deployment and support of
hybrid cloud environments
(AWS, Azure) Execute
cloud migration plans
from on-prem data centers Act as a senior Systems Administrator supporting full IT service lifecycle Configure LAN/WAN networks, including firewalls, routers, ACLs, DNS Manage enterprise platforms: App Servers: JBOSS, Tomcat Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora OS: Windows Server, Red Hat, Unix Load balancers and storage
Automate provisioning with
PowerShell, Bash, Python Integrate third-party systems and hardware Plan for
capacity, disaster recovery, and continuity Apply
ITIL and DevOps
methods for service delivery Collaborate on CI/CD support and SDLC infrastructure compliance Troubleshoot and resolve advanced system issues Monitor infrastructure and implement performance improvements Maintain
Active Directory integrations
and enforce security controls Stay updated on
cybersecurity best practices Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Travel in-state to agency locations as needed Required Experience:
2-3 years in
cloud engineering or infrastructure support Hands-on
cloud architecture/migration
(AWS & Azure) Enterprise IT/networking background Experience with
PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting Understanding of
IT security
in government settings Familiar with
ITIL
and
DevOps
practices Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience supporting
public sector or government agencies Required Skills:
