Construction Project Engineer

This family and family owned general contractor has been around since the 1960s and is well known across the Midwest. With their headquarters in Columbus, they do $200M+ in revenue and have a team of 100+ people. They specialize in higher education, K-12, healthcare, residential, correctional, government, and sports centers. Not to mention, their self-perform division. Job Description

• Assure all projects are built to drawings and specifications
• Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders
• Assure all materials orders are executed
• Daily project paperwork
• Maintaining schedule and meeting deadlines
• Maintain workflow and strong relations with subs
• Maintain and organize field documents (drawings, specifications, etc.)
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Participate in company training sessions
• Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in Construction Management or related degree
• 1+ year of general contracting experience
• Experienced in occupied space projects a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Desire and willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
